As an award-winning provider of healthy lifestyle programmes, we recognise the importance of community health provision to help reduce health inequalities.   In Thurrock, we’ve been delivering healthy lifestyle programmes for families since September 2023. As part of our work to help reduce child obesity, we conducted more than 100 interviews and collaborated with a range of stakeholder groups to ensure a multi-layered perspective on the issues at hand.    Our findings illustrate the need for a whole system approach to tackle child weight management, leveraging local community assets and educational support whilst helping to empower families to make healthy long-term lifestyle changes.   Read the full report to learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eh7ygKXB #HealthyLifestyles #Health #Wellbeing #Thurrock

We recently supported Demos to launch ‘The Earlier the Better’ – a report focusing on how to improve access to employment support for disabled people and those with health conditions. The findings highlight the importance of ensuring there are effective policy measures to help raise awareness of employment support, which is integral to improving access.
