New role! Financial Services Audit Partner role - £300k to £400k Package! Boutique Accounting Practice going through sustained Unicorn style Audit Revenue growth ! - London Exceptional Salary plus uncapped bonus incentive structure that is looking to lead to total compensation of £300k to £400k! I am working with a boutique Accounting firm whose tailored approach, expertise from global leaders (including major global RI Partner and former Blue Chip CFO) is leading to swathes of clients from all areas of Financial Services joining them, ahead of the more generic offerings they feel they get from traditional Top 15 firms. This includes Banks, Fintechs, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers, including FTSE and AIM listed PIEs and UK Subs of multinationals. Their responsible leadership team has implemented a robust methodology that is IQSM1 compliant with relevant FRC and other regulatory Approvals to take on such highly regulated engagements They have grown to 30 audit staff , including many who have joined from the UK Top 6 who feel they can soar within this firm's culture of sharing wealth and continuing their stratospheric growth story. They are also looking to acquire 10 Partner firms in London to leverage their growth. They are looking for Directors or Partners to join them who want Equity early in this Unicorn environment, and be part of the growth usually seen in Technology or FinTech start-ups, rather than Accounting firms. They will put substantial marketing budget behind you, as well as having a hugely successful global network, that is generating a 60% conversation rate from enquiries from 30 new clients a week as part of an innovative client attraction strategy. Unlike most other firms, there is an uncapped incentive scheme for business you bring in or secure from their hugely successful referral network. This has been leading to individuals earning 80 to 100% bonuses on their base in Year 1, unlike the typical 20% capped firm awards in a Top 20 firm in a good year, and far less in a bad year. You will also have the chance to have your own LLP within this agile structure, designed to offer seven figure packages for you in 3-4 years, if agreed targets are met. My client has designs of growing globally in the Ireland, Cayman Islands, and UAE, and there would be opportunities for you to grow a global business as part of this, which again is not feasible in the network structure of most Top 20 firms. You will need to be UK based and be an experienced Director or Partner from any Top 50 firm ,with a UK client network that could be utilised to bring in new business within agreed and realistic timescales. SCOTT’S CHART OF THE WEEK This week it’s the return of HR1 submissions notifying the Ibsolvency Service of potential redundancies. In April, 266 employers submitted HR1 forms, notifying of 18,450 potential redundancies. This marks a significant drop in submissions and potential redundancies compared to March and marks the second consecutive month where both potential redundancies and the number of companies warning of potential redundancies have fallen. There has been a similar pattern over the past two years where the numbers have dropped from March through to April. This has been followed up by an increase in submissions and potential redundancies in May. Could May 2024 follow a similar trajectory? The news earlier this week from Cazoo will add to this, as well as the potential for further store closures of The Body Shop as itsAdministration progresses.
