Personal Overview
こんにちわ(Hello), my real name is Andrew. I was born at the University of Chicago Hospital on April 17, 1982 with my fraternal twin brother. I live about 45 minutes west of Chicago, IL.
I am currently teaching myself Japanese (日本語). With a combination of Japanese dictionaries, Rosetta Stone, and the internet. About.com has great writing tool with Kanji Land. I haven't been to Japan yet, but I really want to go.

The Guest by Phantom Planet is my favorite album ever. Unfortunately, I was introduced to it by the song California being connected to the show The O.C., which I have never even watched. I absolutely love every track on the album. Here is a link to the Amazon page.

Anime
A list of Anime I own the episodes of or watch on TV:
- Dragon Ball and Z - I don't like GT very much. I have quite a few of the uncut DVD's as well as bootleged fansubed VHS's, before the most of episodes hit US shores. I prefer the Japanese voice actors to the English ones.
- Cowboy Bebop - I own all the episodes and the movie on DVD. I love the soundtrack, I own a lot of the CDs.
- Trigun - I own all the episodes on DVD. I love the soundtrack, I own both the First and Second Donuts, only the Japanese versions will do.
- Fullmetal Alchemist - I own almost all the episodes on DVD. I own the movie.
- Gainax Anime
- Bleach - I own all four DVD's out so far.
- Yu Yu Hakusho - I own a few of the DVD's. I was introduced to this anime by a friend from Indonesia who bought it from Hong Kong, before it came to the US.
- InuYasha - I own a few of the DVD's.
- Dai-Guard - I own a few of the DVD's. I was introduced to it by the two episodes Toonami aired.
- Martian Successor Nadesico - I own the Complete Chronicles DVD set.
- Love Hina - I own all the episodes and most of the specials on DVD.
- Gate Keepers - I own the first three DVD's.
- Fushigi Yugi - I own only one DVD and don't like it too much.
- Ghost in the Shell and Stand Alone Complex - I own both films and most of the the first SAC DVD's.
- Naruto - I watch it occasional on Cartoon Network, but don't own any episodes on DVD.
- And last, but definitely not least Akira - I own the 2001 rerelease edition.
