Jenni Farley, also known by her nickname JWoww (born February 27, 1986)[1] is an American reality television personality. Since it began airing in December 2009, Farley has been a main cast member on the MTV reality series Jersey Shore.
She has also made several appearances on other shows, such as TNA Impact.
Career
Farley began appearing on Jersey Shore in December 2009 as one of the eight original cast members. The series has aired three seasons to date, with a fourth season to be filmed in Italy.
She launched a clothing line, "Filthy Couture," in a Las Vegas runway show in July, 2010. After four months of operation, the line ceased sales in October 2010 due to a threatened trademark lawsuit.[2] Farley stated that the brand was not over and a new line would be released.[3]
Farley and castmate Nicole Polizzi "Snooki" are set to star in an upcoming spin off.
In 2010 she released a book called The Rules According to JWOWW: Shore-Tested Secrets On Landing A Mint Guy, Staying Fresh To Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb.
Personal life
Farley attended Columbia High School, in East Greenbush, New York.[4] She currently resides in Franklin Square, New York. She attended the New York School of Technology where she earned a degree in graphic design. Farley is the biological mother to son Tatom Mitchel Scott Rengels (name chosen by adopted parents). Rengels was concieved by former school boyfriend Damon Travis. Farley was twenty one when Rengels was born. Farley stated she struggled with the decision to raise her son, but in the end knew it'd be a better choice for her son to have two stable parents, as she didn't have a stable life then. Farley states she has limited contact with her son, though she is good friends with the adopted parents. Farley states eventually she will be ready to mother again.
Her nationality is Spanish-Irish. After her breakup she took up with body builder, Roger Mathews. The two are said to be planning on marriage and a baby by the end of this year.
