Xuxa's article revert by thou.

Why did you revert Xuxa's article, where it's said she starred Amor Estranho Amor? She indeed has starred that movie! You do not even know Brazil, you do not even know Xuxa's 'glorious' career! Who do you think you are to revert things you don't know, from a country you have never been!? I am Brazilian (unfortunately, yes), so I have twice more authority to say things about Xuxa than you, mademoiselle.

Frank W. Dux

The edit I made to Frank Dux, that you reverted, was not vandalism. The "Kumite" event Frank Dux speaks of has exactly one(1) witness, Mr. Dux himself. With no reliable(or unreliable) third party sources to the event, it cannot be assumed that Dux was "clearly the best fighter there", or that he won, or was partially blinded during his last fight. Thanks.

Eccles and Jordan flip-flop-invention

Dear Katharineamy! Thank You for data for "Jordan"! Was one of my first tries with Wikipedia to ask for more information about Jordan. From 1985 to 2001 I started to develop 'Computerkunde' ("computer-knowledge"?) at a german Waldorfschool im Hamburg. And I always tried to get knowledge about persons who did the inventions for the "new technology". So Jordan with the flip-flop did together with Eccles one of the basic inventions. Thank You once more for Your work! I realy would apreciate to get a short notice from You. Remarkable spectrum of tasks at the right side! Best greetings from Hamburg! Herzliche Grüße aus Hamburg! New page patrol – Survey Invitation

Hello Katharineamy! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.

  • If this invitation also appears on other accounts you may have, please complete the survey once only.
  • If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.

Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.

You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

About the disambig notification

Hi, I'm the creator of DPL bot, which just left the message above. I want to apologize for it and offer a solution. The message is intended as a service to people writing articles, not people doing maintenance work like yourself. I don't want you to think you're expected to fix dablinks on top of your wikilinking work.

The solution is to put a template anywhere on your talk page that tells DPL bot not to leave messages for you. Here's the syntax:

{{bots|deny=DPL bot}}

Another thing you might be interested in is Anomie's Link classifier, which gives you a tab you can use to color-code wikilinks by type (redirect, up for deletion, disambig, etc.)

Random page patrol

Thank you for having that user label - I was already doing it myself and didn't realize that there was anyone else doing it! It's now on my user page... Allens (talk) 21:34, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ground noise

thanks for touching/editing the page I posted. I could not help but notice a few postings about the article, including "it reads like a student essay" and "does not cite references". Well, I suppose that is because I am aware of no references. These facts I learned after attending electronics school and working in the field for many years. There are no references that I am aware of (NEW information?). "reads like an essay", well, it IS an essay! Perhaps you know of an EE professor who would like to chime in?.. maybe not.. I am aware of at least several EE professors who have desigend and built (even sent into production designs of) equipment who were apparently unaware of these things. thanks again.
