If you want an exacting version of the show with every bell and whistle then don't get this.

If you want a nostalgia hit for a well remembered kids TV show then this is the DVD set for you.

As the first reviewer points out it's a slightly different version but if you haven't seen it in 25 years then I doubt you notice a slight bit of difference besides the odd superfluous Stan Lee lines cut.

Other than that you can just enjoy them.

Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends are just that amazing. It is suitable for all ages but especially for the younger children. My son is 3 and some of the other Marvel Spider-Man DVDs are to graphic and quite violent. Although this may be a bit cheesey at times and the theme tune gets stuck in your head for several days as it is from the early 80's. It is good family fun, enjoyable and a child friendly series.
