Live Action Gegege no Kitaro

Shochiku's 2005 Schedule includes Gundam, Fullmetal Alchemist, Prince of Tennis and xxxHOLiC movies.
Shochiku's film lineup for 2005 was announced on the 26th, in 2005 they will release 56 movie, 27 Japanese movies, 24 western movies and 5 theatrical anime.
While talking about their 2005 plans, they mentioned that in 2006 they will release a live action adaptation of GeGeGe no Kitarō, based on the popular manga of the same name. The movie is to be directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi of "Trick Trick" and "PIKA*NCHI" fame, the cast has not yet been finalized. The movie will not be identical to the manga and anime.
Among the 5 anime released in 2005 will be Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: Heir to the Stars, the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, the xxxHOLiC movie and Prince of Tennis: The First Game (we weren't able to find the 5th anime). They will also be releasing the Tetsujin 28-go live-action adaptation in 2005.
