Behaviour Interactive acquires Montreal’s Fly Studio, an award-winning multimedia experience designer and producer
Behaviour Interactive is pleased to announce its acquisition of Montreal’s award-winning multimedia experience designer and producer, Fly Studio. This move consolidates the internationally renowned video game studio’s position in the location-based entertainment (LBE) market.
Founded in Montreal in 1996, Fly Studio has conceived and developed multimedia experiences across the globe in partnership with Cirque du Soleil, Jamestown, Neon Global, People Creative, and many others. Fly’s team of 25 will join Behaviour’s Services division to create innovative immersive experiences that incorporate video game technology. Fly’s team will help Behaviour to seize new business opportunities and expand into new markets, specifically in the fast-growing LBE sector.

Client services are a pillar of Behaviour’s business. Since the 1990s, Behaviour has emerged as a global leader in co- and full-development services, working with leading brands across the video game and entertainment industries such as Microsoft, Sony, EA, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Take-Two, among many others. “Fly Studio is an important player in Montreal’s world-famous mixed-media entertainment ecosystem, and we are always on the lookout for innovative expansion opportunities,” says Wayne Meazza, Executive Vice-President of Behaviour’s Services division. “I’m thrilled to add Fly’s talented team to our fast-growing division and I’m confident they will feel right at home with Behaviour.”
Behaviour and Fly Studio are already well acquainted, having worked together on several virtual and LBE projects in recent years, including Times Square’s Virtual New Year’s 2021 celebration and its Concrete Jungle AR app, both developed for Jamestown. These projects allowed Behaviour to experience firsthand the technical depth and artistic vision of Fly’s talented team of professionals.
“At Behaviour, we see great potential in the immersive and interactive experiences sector and adding Fly to our team will consolidate our place in that market and allow us to bring innovative, large-scale projects to life,” says Dominique Lebel, Senior Vice-President, Business development – Immersive Entertainment, at Behaviour.
“Behaviour is one of the pioneers of Canada’s interactive entertainment industry and we have long been fans of their work,” says Jean-François Talbot, Fly Studio’s President and Executive Producer. “To now join the Behaviour team as colleagues is a truly exciting opportunity for everyone at Fly.”
