Our Vision

We operate as a responsible shareholder, bringing together an entrepreneurial spirit and solid financial discipline.

We work for the development and consolidation of our subsidiaries, in a governance framework that allows us to define strategies and take decisions with a view to creating value in the long term.

Throughout our history, we’ve stood out for our capacity to bring new entrepreneurial initiatives to life. Recently, we have redesigned our strategy to focus on healthcare and automotive components.

CIR is controlled by Fratelli De Benedetti S.p.A., a holding company in which the brothers Rodolfo, Marco and Edoardo De Benedetti directly or indirectly hold 100% of company capital and voting rights.

The De Benedetti brothers entrusted management of the company to Monica Mondardini, who has been Chief Executive Officer since 2013.

A portfolio of balanced activities

Our portfolio of activities consists of two assets, KOS and Sogefi.

KOS is the leading national operator in terms of revenues and number of beds in the field of homes for the not self-sufficient aged and among the leading operators in functional rehabilitation and psychiatry. The company aims to become a pan-European operator.

Sogefi is one of the top Italian companies in automotive components, as well as being a sector leader at the world level. Listed in the STAR segment on the Milan stock exchange, it operates in 18 countries and three market segments: suspension, filters, air and cooling systems.

Being a significant participant in two different sectors enables us to interact with a plurality of stakeholders.
