Za 2. svetovej vojny slúžil u námorníctva v Tichomorí a potom študoval tri roky na University of Kentucky v Lexingtonu, kde sa prvýkrát predstavil na javisku ako smetiar Alfred Doolitle v komédii Pygmalion. Štyri roky navštevoval herecké kurzy v kalifornskom umeleckom učilišti Pasadena Playhouse a vystupoval s rôznymi zájazdovými divadlami. V roku 1957 sa vrátil do Los Angeles, kde sa hneď uplatnil už pod menom Dean Stanton v televíznych seriáloch a hollywoodských… (viac)
