Founded in 1751 by Welsh people living and working in London the Society has promoted the development of some of Wales’ most important institutions. It provides an opportunity for the Welsh to meet and engage in Welsh culture. Today it aims to reflect all that is best in contemporary Welsh language, literature, arts and science and offers an opportunity to discuss a changing Wales.
