Arráncame la vida

Based on the hit novel by Angeles Mastreta, the film portrays the story of a woman who dared to break the mold of her time. Catalina is a woman from Puebla who marries Andres Ascencio, a decent and powerful man, as a way out of her little world. Her expectations are soon dashed, however, as she discovers, as a result of her marriage to Andres, she lost her freedom. (Verleiher-Text)
