I wasn’t very hopeful that they could keep up with the quality of the prequels, but in the end, it really wasn’t all that bad. The problem was that funny scenes were followed by cringy ones, which only reminded me of Girls, Girls and an era during which everybody said that the Germans made the worst movies in Europe because they were only familiar with these crazy commercial comedies – frantic editing, absurd scenes, wannabe funny music insertions… There were a few scenes like that in this movie. For example, the moment when Chantal and her friend accidentally indulged in virtual sex, and her friend’s grandma put a cookie in her mouth. Well, luckily, they saved it with the rest and with the fact that I’ve already grown used to this throughout the first and the second movie. ()
The German Crazy Trilogy is behind us. I don't really go to the movies for comedies, but I do like to go once in a while for something so bizarre and crazy. It's hard to blame the third part for its complete lack of any substance in any direction, this showy guilty pleasure thrives on the fact that it's not taken seriously at all and is blatantly stupid. I probably mention this for the third time, but by German prudish standards, it's quite refreshing and visually beautifully shot. I was surprised by how even the third part is brimming with ideas and Herr Müller once again deals with previously unthinkable messes, and what's more, it's funny again, in that kind of infantile idiotic way that one must already incline to (or some intoxicating substances). An excellent triple combo for a proper drinking party, better flushing comedies are hard to come by... ()
The first part of the Suck Me Shakespeer movie series could safely be described as a breath of fresh air in the German comedies sector, the second one was still quite passable, but Bora Dagtekin really should have stopped short of a third one, because it is more or less one big unfunny embarrassment. The only thing keeping this sinking barge afloat was perhaps the sexy handsome Elyas M'Barek and the energetic soundtrack. (40%) ()
The third part of the successful Suck Me Shakespeer is unfortunately the weakest and actually useless. The second one spiced up things up by going on a trip, the third one is back at school, but it doesn't have much balls anymore. There are far fewer funny scenes than in the previous installments and I felt like they were running out of ideas, like the movie was made out of a need to make more money. It’s still watchable, Elyas M'Barek is still cool and Gizem Emre is hot. 60%. ()
