Ayuko Tsukahara has directed several TV series in her home country, including Unnatural (2018), La Grande Maison Tokyo (2019), MIU404 (2020) and Dearest (2021). She has also directed the feature films Kohi ga samenai uchi ni / Café Funiculi Funicula (2018), Watashi no shiawasena kekkon / My Happy Marriage (2023) and Last Mile (2024).
