Mária Horváth

Mária Horváth (1952) is a Hungarian film animator and director. She studied gold-smithy at the High School of Art in Pécs. In 1971 she began working at the production company of Kecskemét Film Studio. Her work is a synthesis of poetry and animation. From her rich and award-winning animated productions we will mention the films Deep in the Night (Az éjszaka csodái, 1982), Green Tree Street 66 (Zöldfa u. 66, 1992), Folk Songs (Kis emberek dalai, 1997) and Talking Stone (Mesél and ko, 2004).
