The American film Death Valley has a fairly classic slasher storyline that is not very surprising overall, which is quite a shame, because at the beginning it almost felt like it could have been imaginative. In the end, it's only Billy that holds the film together and makes you at least worry about him, if nothing else. The film boldly descends almost into mediocrity, but the finale saves it in the end.
