English The old familiar tale of two restless neighbours who play pranks on each other and in the end there is supposed to be a lesson. Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick were less funny than usual, but I'll still give it 2* for the beautiful production design and a couple of bright moments. ()

English A typical American Christmas comedy that doesn't offer anything worth revisiting. Hence, I gave it two stars. Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick are the only highlights, standing off against each other in a storyline that practically begs for holiday spirit. Unfortunately, it's not much of a spectacle. It had the potential to be much funnier, but instead, it turns out to be a standard family afternoon movie that you can watch while cooking and eating lunch without complete silence. ()

English I understand the Golden Raspberry nominations, surely all movie fans could easily sleep, if this movie hadn't been made. But the nomination for Danny wasn't necessary, I think his character was the most entertaining - or rather, not entertaining at all. The Christmas atmosphere is in the air, but honestly - watching a movie where the whole plot revolves around competing for Christmas decorations?! ()
