Ryden Malby (Alexis Bledel) has a master plan. Graduate college, get a great job, hang out with her best friend (Zach Gilford) and find the perfect guy. But her plan spins hilariously out of control when she's forced to move back home with her eccentric family. By the time she lands her dream job, Ryden realizes it's meaningless without the man of her dreams...and the people she loves. (official distributor synopsis)

English Boy licking heads, grandmother constantly preparing for death, and crazy Michael Keaton. That says it all. Two stars without blinking. ()

English Post Grad is made incredibly charming thanks to Alexis Bledel. It perfectly captures that moment we all experience as students—graduating full of hope, thinking the world is ours for the taking. But reality hits hard, and even Alexis realizes that entering the "real world" is far from a walk in the park. The story moves along smoothly, and I really enjoyed it, especially for the gentle, almost graceful way it unfolds. That kind of light touch is rare to see, and it made the film feel special. ()
