Lisbon. In an institute for the blind arrives mysterious lecturer Ian and starts teaching space orientation. At first, his unusual method based on echolocation arouses considerable distrust, which is soon replaced by curiosity. A heart-warming film that plays with the audiences' imagination, thus introducing the world of the blind. One of its messages is that independence and freedom are not ... for free. A completely amazing and honest movie that tells the story of the blind with such ease, humor and beauty that it grew on me right away. And it wasn’t as depressing as one might expect. Quite the opposite. And it wasn’t just the story that made me so happy; the actors were also flawless and the atmosphere of the sunny Lisbon is a cherry on top. ()
