Lost Gate

Even a notch better than "The Devil's Strategy," which is already really commendable. The environment is even more attractive than before, with witty references to Pardubice, a sharper sense of humor, and an unpredictable story that keeps you on the edge until the end. I wanted to savor this series to make it last longer, but it was impossible. This is how I imagine a purebred detective story evoking the novels of Dan Brown. Hats off to Strach and his drive and craft, because this concept must have been difficult to write and realize. A fantastic ride, and I pray that Strach will embark on a similar project again someday, but most importantly, that he will cast old good actors and not some greenhorns from "Ordinace." (2021-03-16)
