Djinn is a film that had the potential to utilize an intriguing, unfamiliar setting, but it's really just a backdrop for something that overly resembles a Japanese ghost horror. It does not have a well-developed screenplay, just an attempt to scare the audience a bit, which may or may not succeed. On the surface, this is a well-crafted film, but overall, it's a film with nothing to impress you with. ()
