Reviews (1)
Four people in a château and a dog. A willing cynic with no memory kept behind a high wall by his wife, who refuses to include sex among the elements of recovery. Along with them is a family friend who enjoys recording audio, a Chinese servant who begins to furiously polish objects at the hint of men’s affection for his mistress, and a four-legged adversary with a keen sense of smell. It’s up to you to guess what geometric shape will remain from this amorous quartet, and who will end up swallowing the bitter pill as part of the prescribed medication. Julien Duvivier could have infused a bit more tension and erotic heat and replaced Alain Delon, who wasn’t quite suited for the running around the estate and gradual illumination in the shell. ()
