George, a Bolivian who owns a videoconferencing business used by immigrants in the Washington metropolitan area name “Contacto Vivo”, is a very prosperous business. Two screens mean a closer bond between immigrants and the loved ones they left behind. In the videoconference, the encounters are touching, but silence, lies, and recriminations come across many times, leaving the environment charged with tension. Some stories will remain uncertain in the encounters between the screens, while the others will have a new beginning away from the Northern Straits. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
