Biography

Eric's ability to gloss over reality drew him to cinema at an early age. There was always a camera in his hands. He followed his passion to North Carolina School of the Arts where he received and M.F.A. in cinematography. Later, he moved to Los Angeles, where he continued to find DP work. Eric's contribution to Come Together was invaluable. He worked closely with his director to "create an epic within four walls." The concept was to shoot a film in a house and make it look visually unique. Eric intuitively understood the screenplay and his approach inspired his director. He was one of the first DP's to shoot an entire feature using Panasonic's new HD camera, the HVX-200. He enthusiastically rose to the challenge of working with the new technology and his experience has helped him to shoot other HD features. He went on to shoot Zombie Movie, Mutant Vampire Zombies from the 'Hood, starring C. Thomas Howell. From his current home base of New York he has worked as a Director of Photography in the worlds of commercials, independent film, and documentaries, getting to travel the world while following his passion for storytelling.
