A pleasant satirical television comedy that mocks hypocrisy and societal prejudices. It cleverly places these themes in the context of the rise of capitalism, poking fun at the declining feudal world in conflict with the entrepreneurial spirit of a usurer and brewery owner, brilliantly played by Jiří Sovák. Despite its slower television pace and visibly TV-like sets, its strengths lie in excellent casting and a series of satirical catchphrases. Overall impression: 75%. ()
