English This Dutch erotic thriller has a vibe that reminds me a lot of Fifty Shades of Grey. It feels like the kind of story that women used to unwind with in the 90s, but now it’s being adapted for the screen. Unfortunately, it doesn’t translate as well. If this were an action movie, it would come off as a B-movie due to the behavior of all the characters. ()

English I was pleasantly surprised by this somewhat underrated thriller. I tend to be lenient when it comes to affairs, so I was okay with it and didn't feel sudden waves of hatred towards the two friends who embarked on an extramarital escapade (to the neighboring country, just to be safe). I found myself having quite a good time. Sure, I spoiled it for myself again by being too well-read in detective and crime novels, figuring out the bad guy too early. However, the creators kept me in suspense the whole time, making me question my assumptions at least twice. The cast was interesting and likable, the story worked for me, and I wasn't bored for a moment, which surprised me enough to warrant a four-star rating. True, I found some flaws; the main investigator's final summary of the situation left me dumbfounded, there were occasional logic holes,  and the essay didn§t quite work out, among other things, but it didn't really matter to me. I simply enjoyed it. / Lesson learned: If you're going to walk the dog, don't wear a white suit. You never know. ()
