English I really don't understand why people have a problem with Goat Story. Perhaps it could have been more distinct in terms of the genre, because I find myself thinking: Is it for kids or for adults? But other than that, I didn't have much of a problem with it... I think the graphics are very well done, it has nice music, apt dubbing and nicely designed "puppets" (I was most sad that Heřmánek's Lucifer got so little space). True, the story isn't spectacular, but it makes you laugh and doesn't get boring... That's the whole point, isn't it? ()

English Due to the many corrosively toxic reviews, my expectations were understandably low, so I was not surprised by the final form of Tománek's work. What can I say about it to avoid repeating the criticisms of others? This simply is not a film, but a disaster. It may not deserve a pure Boo! rating, but considering the finances it devoured, it is in a way a crime when, for financial reasons, projects are not being created in the Czech environment that deserve to see the light of day incomparably more. The Boo! rating is also for the outrageous self-confidence that the creative team exuded, where a damn large dose of self-reflection would have been more appropriate. Overall impression: 15% for artistic design. ()

English Goat Story: The Old Prague Legends is not as bad as it might seem. Lábus' quality dubbing gives the whole story a touch of irony, which is fine. I wouldn't have thought it necessary to worry about the influence of Goat Story, in that it might become normative for other Czech animated films - which it didn't. So, as always, it's about calming the hormones and looking forward to the sequel. ()

English I confess I remembered the film being much worse. I don't really like the animation, but in the end that's not really the worst part. Some of the characters could still work, but the story is such nonsense that it's almost unbelievable that it could actually make it to filming. Not even the characters' wackiness can save it. ()
