English Joann Sfar showcased his visual abilities here and directed a biographical film that also has a lot of fictionalized and specific elements about one of the greatest French musicians. Beautiful actresses were chosen for the roles of their older colleagues with whom Gainsbourg had romances or even something more. But the most interesting thing is still the look inside. ()

English I did not like the way Gainsbourg's life was portrayed, but it's just a matter of taste, as I am a big fan of his, certain of my personal expectations were met by the film. The biggest downside - my two favorite songs did not sound in the movie - Je suis venu te dire que je m´en vais and Ne dis rien... :-( ()
