Two biographies of Harlow were created at the same time. This is the black-and-white version, in which her mother is played by Ginger Rogers. Unfortunately, it was filmed with TV equipment, which is the biggest negative of the entire cheap production. Carol Lynley is not a bad choice for the lead role at all, and the individual incidents from the making of those key films are very interesting. Of course, it all stems from a supporting role in the slapstick Double Whoopee, and the turning point comes with Hell's Angels. But of you’re not a Jean worshipper to the core, you won’t get that much from it. ()
