Doll & Em

After hearing of the deterioration of her best friend's marriage, Em – a successful actress starring in a Hollywood movie invites Doll to LA to become her personal assistant as a way for Doll to find the financial and emotional independence that she needs. The friendship will of course come first, the work second...well that's the plan any way. Soon after arriving, the line between life and work becomes increasingly blurred until each one is no longer sure of the other's motivation. Is Doll being supportive because she's a good friend or because she is being paid to? The gulf between the friends widens. (HBO Nordic)
