The creators mercilessly unveil a chillingly truthful portrayal of the era through Frank and his family, who certainly do not suffer from any hardships. I have borrowed the words of the controversial French writer Michel Houellebecq, which I think accurately capture the essence of this modern story: "The world in which we live is disgusting and ugly."
