On a remote island, three Catholic nuns are the last remaining members of the enclosed order of St. Agnes. Forgotten by the rest of the world, they live in a dilapidated monastery. The nuns live a humble life of work, prayers, and telling dark fairy tales as they knit until an ambitious young priest arrives on a mission from the church. When the nuns become aware of Father Ignatius' true intentions, they are forced to take matters into their own hands. (HBO Nordic)

Lambs of God is a great mini-series, which surprised me by taking place on English cliffs, despite being made by an Australian filmmaking crew and shot mostly near Tasmania. What can I say, after I finished watching, I immediately set out to find the filming locations. They were very nice to look at, and together with the story about the Church, one forgotten women order and a beautiful old monastery, I couldn’t find any faults with this series. Except maybe for the ending, which was too melodramatic for my liking. Some moments of the story, too, were over the line. This was actually redeemed by the ending, even though I can see why some people would hate it. I like the mysteriousness of it and I’m surprised that there are not many similar stories. Great! ()
