Biography (2)
Although Ann Hui (1947, Anshan, Liaoning, China) belongs to the new wave of Hong Kong filmmakers, she has always been a filmmaker sui generis, be it in terms of issues addressed or style applied. From her ample filmography, let us mention at least God of Killers (1981), Boat People (1982), Stuntwoman (1996), Night and Fog (2009) or The Golden Era (2014).
