Maarit Lalli

Maarit Lalli (1964) is a Finnish screenwriter and director. She first focused her attention on short film productions, shooting, e.g., the films A Stone Left Unturned (Kovat miehet, 1999), The Lake (Järvi, 2006) and Sway With Me (Keinu kanssain, 2009). She is also the author of the documentary Prison and Paradise (Saaren vangit, 2002). She's also worked in TV, where she took part in the making of series. The drama Almost 18 (Kohta 18, 2012) is her feature-length debut.
