I must say that this film deserves a much better rating because, for Czech standards, it’s very well executed, and I learned a lot of useful information about Charles IV. It’s true, however, that some moments were quite glaring, likely due to the film’s limited budget. Kryštof Hádek did well in his role, but his older brother delivered a stronger performance as Jan Hus. The person who truly maintained the film's high quality was the excellent Stanislav Majer as John of Luxembourg. I also want to commend whoever selected the music, as it perfectly suited the 14th century setting. The film met my expectations, and I give it 75%. ()
