This is the story of Val, seen through the eyes of her daughter, Clare. After a tragic loss in the family, Val leaves her children behind in order to explore the colombian jungle and find herself as a woman without the restrainds of being it. With the directing of this movie where the jungle is not an scenario but a character, Clare Wieskopf manages to get rid of the scars of a child that could not understand what was her mother looking for when she left her, being only an eleven year old child. Thirty years later, and pregnant, Clare decides to confront her mother as a way to understand her and to be able to define her own maternity in less conventional terms. Together they will begin a journey into the deepths of their relationship, which will lead the to explore the borders between resposabilty and guilt free pleasure.
