A Midsummer Night's Dream

When Hermia defies her father, spurning an arranged marriage to Demetrius in order to run off with her beloved Lysander, Demetrius follows them into the woods, trailed by the besotted Helena. The quiet of evening is further disturbed by a group of film students, including comical Nick Bottom, as well as playful fairies and a hippie sprite named Puck. Mistaken bewitchings, rampant flirtations, and unrequited love rule the hours until morning, when happy endings are delivered for all who deserve them. (Los Angeles Film Festival)
