English Do you remember when "direct to DVD" sequels were in fashion (back then mostly prequels without the original cast)? Well, Escape Plan is exactly that. The second one somehow showed something interesting here and there and wasn't as boring, but the third one is just spinning its wheels and is absolutely about nothing. Sly seems to have lost his charisma during filming, and Bautista took the role just to chat with Stallone on set, not caring about anything else (thank goodness for at least one great scene where a crowd of dummies gets shot with a shotgun). Farewell and never to be seen again. ()

English Although this is another stupid, crappy B-movie, it's still a bit better than the second part. Escape Plan is for me one of the most wasted franchises, after a great first film, they pulled out a forcefully made, stupid, soulless, rushed sequel devoid of any ideas, and now a third film one as well. The new Asian characters are uninteresting, the plot is nothing, the villain says nothing, and the ending is rushed. The only thing that was very good were the fight and action scenes, which are among the best you can find in the movie world (the gore, the creativity and the brutality of the murders were top notch). It's a shame, you can see that the creators are trying to make the best out of the good name of the first film, but enough is enough... ()
