The American movie The Leopard Man has an unsettling quality to itself that we have come to expect from Jacques Tourneur, although it does not have as much of it as we might like. Suddenly, even this fairly atmospheric movie becomes unnecessarily too conversational, focusing on the characters and their scenes rather than the narrative and how the characters will move the story along. Still, the movie deserves to be an outsider cult movie. ()
