Biography
Catrine Telle attended The Institute of Dramaturgy in Århus, Denmark, and the director’s course at The National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Copenhagen. She was employed as a director at the National Scene Theater in Bergen from 1986 to 1989, and later as a resident director at the National Theatre in Oslo from 1994 to 2000. Since then she has worked as the general director of several of Norway's most established theaters. She is renowned for her work with contemporary writers, and was jointly responsible for the Norwegian New Plays Festival in 1994 and 1996.
She made her debut as a film director with the comedy Eye Ball in 2000.
