English I couldn't give it a lower rating because of Adam, Steve Buscemi and Jon Lovitz, and partly Drew, who was at least pretty cute, if nothing else. It is, after all, quite an innocent and pleasant romantic diversion that doesn’t overflow with originality and surprisingly spares a lot of jokes (incredibly restrained humour by Sandler's standards!), but it doesn't spoil anything with a sweet story, a few retro songs and a classic but infectiously upbeat happy ending. I just keep wondering why he didn't want her friend instead, idiot... :-) 60% ()

English It's definitely not the best Sandler movie, it's quite far from that, but the combination of Sandler and Barrymore just works every time. You can root for both of them, even though the story is unbelievably predictable and doesn't surprise the viewer at all. That's the main flaw of the film. It's overly generic. ()

English I admit that I didn't finish it. Not that I lack a sense of romance or that I am opposed to the idea of comedic entertainment, but I am far from interested in this kind of romance and variations of comedy. For me, it is an extremely boring and non-functional film. Overall impression: 20%. ()
