The Prince and the Pauper tells the mischievous story of two young boys caught up in a decidedly deceptive adventure in 1547 England. Pauper Thomas Canty (Robert Timmins) dreams of riches and a better life away from his alcoholic father. Edward Tudor, Prince of Wales (Jonathan Timmins) is disillusioned with royal life and in his heart just wants to behave like a normal boy and have childhood experiences. (Umbrella Entertainment)

Throughout the movie, the young prince made me want to punch him in the face. Sometimes I had the feeling that by repeating the sentence “I’m the little prince and you are the mob” he will conquer the whole London. However, Mark Twain has written it really well and due to the fact that the English found some nice locations in Hungary, it didn’t turn out all that bad. ()
