Ágh Csaba, an eighteen-year-old country labourer spends his time gobbling, drinking, being violent and possessive, until he gets wounded and learns that he has bone-tuberculosis. Once a presumptuous creature of impulse, he becomes a hospitalised patient. His foot has to be amputated. Due to his sufferings and the loss of a nice little girl, he changes into an open and helpful person. His love towards his physician heartens him. After his recovery he faces everyday life stronger in spirit. (official distributor synopsis)
