English I’m not a fan of emotional manipulation, and Rails and Ties really pulls at your heartstrings in a way that feels exhausting after a while. It’s a deeply sad film, filled with themes of loss, suffering, raw honesty, and resignation. The whole thing carries a heavy atmosphere, like you're just waiting for the next heartbreak. Honestly, who can keep watching movies like this on repeat? I recently watched 127 Hours, and it was such a breath of fresh air—a beautiful celebration of life. But with this one? It’s just more despair and tears, which we seem to get a lot of in films these days. Why so much focus on the tragedy? ()
