English Kevin James is an actor who is probably best known as a sidekick to bigger acting stars like Will Smith, but above all, he has established himself alongside his childhood friend Adam Sandler. Lately, however, he has become the type of person who doesn't want to be mentioned until the second or even later in the credits. "Zookeeper" could be the film that brings him to the forefront. It seems to have succeeded to some extent, but we cannot say that he truly shone. "Zookeeper" is a traditionally awkward comedy, which mainly plays on the desire to be quite cool, which it somewhat achieves. Animals are great, especially when they are voiced by famous actors, including James' partner Sandler. However, the story does not stand out and is essentially about James receiving advice - from animals - on how to pick up a human female. It's somewhat like "Hitch," except it lacks that cool guy played by Smith mentioned earlier. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/04/jumper-babel-kung-fu-divocina-miami.html ()

English A lot and really a lot weak, lame and stupid. It is saved only by animals that are cute and maybe Rosario Dawson, otherwise the whole movie is a total flop. Kevin James needs Adam Sandler by his side in person, not just lending his voice to an animal. A typical example of American B-movie production. ()

English There are too many swear words for kids and too few for for teenagers, while for adult viewers, there is too little of a normal plot. Kevin James invited a group of his friends to voice animal companions for him in a movie that would have seemed clichéd even ten years ago. The hysterical elephant might be entertaining for most, but in the end does little to save this movie. ()

English I like Adam Sandler, but I made a huge mistake by not looking up what this movie is supposed to be about, and especially by not watching the trailer. I was shocked by what followed. Caretaker Kevin James is a loser, and the animals he takes care of decide to help him. However, he doesn't know yet that they can talk, which he eventually finds out. It may seem silly, but the fact is that such movies can sometimes work. And this movie sometimes works quite well, but it seems to me that it was intended from the beginning as just a silly comedy for families with children, which I don't know if children will find appealing. Anyway, Adam Sandler did not disappoint, and his dubbing of the cute little monkey pleased me more than the movie itself. ()
