Nihodžin no širanai nihongo

As a student of Japanese, I really appreciate the explanation of certain grammatical phenomena, the use of vocabulary, etc. But as a viewer, I truly don't appreciate the portrayal of the characters of the foreigners, the clichés and stupidity. I admit that you learn something, but it's rolled in a rather smelly sauce... The big plus is that the episode is no longer than half an hour, so it's mentally bearable. :-D It's not bad, but I was annoyed by the aforementioned portrayal of the foreigner characters... Watch it if you want something a bit on the hokey side, and at the same time where you can learn something interesting. (01/31/2013)
