It's a very peculiar film that won't resonate with everyone from the start, but I liked its naivety, childishness, exaggerated colorfulness, and playfulness. These are elements that together provide quite a functional social critique, especially regarding the military aspects. It's not perfect, it's not exceptionally funny, but the characters are beautifully bizarre. ()
