I was afraid that I would be disappointed and angry after being pleased by the Critics' Awards. In addition to wishing for one or two additional awards for Špína and at least one award for Kvarteto, I am satisfied and I think the evening went by somewhat peacefully, without any awkward moments and some traditional Czech-Slovak joke or, conversely, a comment on the current situation in our country and in Slovakia. I liked Kronerová's speech the most and Sláma surprised me barefoot :-) Oldřich Kaiser, after years of fasting, is starting to collect awards and it is good, because I have been saying for a long time that Kaiser and/or Lábus are saving a lot of Czech films in recent times, Po strništi bos is a shining proof of that.
