Jaro

I just can't seem to get into this environment. Jiří Trnka is absolutely great when it comes to animation, but the story he tells just doesn't resonate with me. It's probably really because of the rural setting. Not that I don't like it, but probably not in this old Czech form. The animation is beautiful, as is the sound work, but this is also the domain of Trnka's films. (17.02.2015)
