Kindisch, aber es hat Schwung. Die "niedliche und dumme“ Reese und die "sexy“ Sofía ergänzen sich durch die Verschiedenheit ihrer Figuren gut. Die Zielgruppe wird sich darüber freuen. ()
Honestly - this was really dumb. But for some reason I actually enjoyed it. After seeing Reese Witherspoon’s performance, I’m secretly hoping that someone will cast her in the role of Adolf Hitler, I'm sure she would do an excellent job :-) Sofía Vergara was a very distracting character whenever the camera was on her, I could not concentrate on the subtitles and every time she spoke, she instantly made me laugh. The plot was simple, some of the jokes were probably intended for people with a lower IQ, but it was still great fun. ()
Reese Witherspoon is a pretty insufferable character, but is still a cute and likeable girl, and Sofia Vergara is simply a gorgeous piece of woman that every guy would want to see on a daily basis, and her "in high heels with a low cleavage" role was written exactly for her body. However, as beautiful as they are to watch, the story sounds more like a casual fooling around by two shouting friends who wanted to contribute to the lighter waters of cinematic feminism and remind us that even absurd female team-ups have their days in action comedies. Nothing against it, but it wasn't fun even to the extent that it could be called a fine diversion, let alone a fun sexy diversion. For movies with similar themes, I’ll always prefer the masculine Midnight Run, beautiful girls are not everything. 40% ()
Considering there were one or two scenes where I laughed, I'll give it some points. But this is the kind of comedy I don't like. Given that there aren't any proper jokes here, half of the film is just pointless chaos, with someone arguing, someone yelling at someone else, or just plain yelling. This just isn't funny to me. ()
A temperamental Colombian stinger and a petite police wild card in a female buddy Texas massacre with menstrual threats. It's hard to say who is Nick Nolte and who is Eddie Murphy, but if it lasted another 48 hours, the first one would be approaching ninety according to the media, while the second measures two and a half feet. Too whiny, too zany, and too reliant on areas where Vergara could hide a wiretap. ()
